Meet some of the Amazing Volunteers and Support Staff among the Thailand locals
Something nice to say about the people who are helping in Thailand... The rest of this is filler text - Fa lives in the small and remote village of Muang Khong in Thailand. And now Jeff will tell you a little more about her and her story in a way only Jeff can tell it because, well, he was there.
Sahtit
Sahtit is a blessing that can only come from God. He has a heart for the children of the villages and a passion to share God’s love with them. Sahtit came from a broken family where his family left him, lived as an orphan, and ended turning to drugs to cope with the feeling of abandonment. Sahtit came out of the cycle through God’s power and turned his life whole heartedly towards serving Him. Sahtit visits the children and their families, works with youth in a soccer team, and conducts some discipleship for the children a couple times a month. He loves to play guitar and sing worship songs. Sahtit has a desire to someday open up an orphanage and we ask you to pray for this endeavor.
Too
Dho is Sahtit’s wife. Dho has worked with Compassion International and has a desire to minister to the girls of our program. Dho attended bible school and is the mother of a daughter and a son. We are excited to bring her apart of our ministry and look forward to the work God will be doing through her.
P Insorn
P Insorn has been with us from the beginning. She worked with Compassion International for her village and the surrounding villages. PInsorn takes care of the logistics for our ministries. She makes sure the schools are given their money for tuition, lodging is taken care of, and that all the children have all they need to succeed. She is always smiling and laughing. She always makes us feel welcome and we appreciate the heart she has for the children and the elderly of the villages.
